Technical Lead
Key Responsibilities
• Systematically analyze Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Major and Critical events
• Reliability Engineering
• Review Capacity Planning, Modification, Retrofit and Approve Technical Changes (Change Management)
• Provide technical advice to operations, construction and management teams
• Direct and be a witness for all levels of commissioning of the new system (Level 1–5)
• Develop Knowledge Base, Best Practice, and prepare technical training plans for engineers in the team.
• Review SOP, MOP, EOP documents and approve technical documents before going live
• Coordinate with equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and international experts on in-depth problem analysis.
• Engineering representation in meetings with clients, government agencies and auditors
• Develop an Asset Lifecycle Management plan and provide investment recommendations on new technologies.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Automation Engineering; Ordinary degree or engineer qualification is preferred.
Experience: At least 8 years of data center infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years of experience in design, commissioning or reliability engineering.
Technical Skills
• Expertise across MEP+ELV+Fire branches and understand integration between systems.
• Systematic Analysis, Reliability Analysis, FMEA, RCA
• Understanding of Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC standards
• Engineering Tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, CFD Software
• Executive-level technical report writing and presentation skills
Chinese is preferred.
Working Conditions
Work full-time at Data Center 园区 with On-Call for Critical Incidents; Work in the office and machine room alternately; Must wear full PPE when entering the Hazardous area; Travel to another site to do Engineering Review.
