Operations & Maintenance Engineer (Data Center)
1. Professional Planning & Implementation
Ensure the achievement of operational safety and SLA continuity targets within the data center.
Translate customer service requirements (e.g., SLAs, meeting commitments) into actionable O&M requirements within the discipline.
2. Data Center Operations Management
Develop operational standards, including operating models and methods, to ensure safe and reliable system performance.
Establish and implement operational data analysis (including reporting), and manage system performance, including energy efficiency and capacity management.
Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and incidents affecting operations; organize and control risks related to changes within the discipline.
3. Infrastructure & Equipment Maintenance Management
Develop maintenance standards and plans for infrastructure and equipment within the discipline.
Organize and oversee maintenance activities, including servicing, preventive maintenance, testing, inspections, repairs, and spare parts management.
Control quality, risks, and operational impacts during maintenance; ensure maintenance outcomes meet requirements.
Manage equipment vendors, as well as procurement and maintenance service contracts.
4. Management System & Documentation
Develop technical standards, processes, and documentation.
Maintain and update system documentation, including project-related materials.
Ensure compliance of O&M activities and enforce implementation of relevant procedures and documentation.
5. Daily Operations Management
Oversee and verify completion of routine departmental tasks.
Be responsible for data center “8S management.”
Complete ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Thai and Chinese; English fluency preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years of relevant domain experience and experience working with equipment vendors.
Strong sense of responsibility, good teamwork and communication skills, with solid risk awareness and cost awareness; detail-oriented and steady in handling tasks.
