Operations and Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance management of the data center, ensuring operational safety and continuously improving Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).

  • Responsible for organizing, coordinating, and supervising all operation and maintenance activities to ensure the data center operates in compliance with customer and company standards, while maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

  • Responsible for the daily management of the operations and maintenance team, including shift scheduling, training, emergency drills, and performance evaluations.

  • Establish and improve systems and mechanisms related to operation and maintenance management.

  • Develop infrastructure maintenance plans for the data center and oversee the implementation, control, and optimization of related plans.

  • Responsible for commissioning, preventive maintenance, review and approval of change requests, post-operation incident reporting, and command and coordination of emergency response activities.

  • Responsible for preparing the annual budget for the data center, continuously reducing operating costs, and ensuring operational stability.

  • Responsible for cross-department communication and coordination related to operation and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills in Chinese and Thai; fluent English proficiency is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related fields.

  • More than 5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of medium-to-large-scale data center infrastructure, with over 3 years of team management experience.

  • Familiar with the operation and maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC systems, low-voltage systems, and fire protection systems, with expertise in at least one area.

  • Familiar with data center operation and maintenance management systems and relevant standards.

  • Creative mindset with experience in team building and management.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, excellent teamwork and communication skills, strong awareness of risk and cost control, detail-oriented, and prudent in work.


II. Operations and Maintenance Engineer

1. Overall Planning and Execution Within the Specialized Discipline

  • Achieve operational safety continuity goals and Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements for the data center.

  • Responsible for translating customer service requirements (SLA, meeting requirements, etc.) and related matters into operation and maintenance work requirements for the data center.

2. Data Center Operations Management

  • Responsible for developing standard operating systems for the specialized discipline, including operating modes and operational methods, ensuring compliance with safe operation requirements.

  • Responsible for developing and implementing on-site operational data analysis (including reports) for the specialized discipline, managing system operational status, energy efficiency management, and capacity management.

  • Responsible for managing risks, issues, and incidents affecting on-site operations within the specialized discipline, organizing and implementing changes, and controlling operational risks.

3. Infrastructure and Equipment Maintenance Management

  • Responsible for developing maintenance systems and plans for equipment within the specialized discipline.

  • Responsible for organizing and implementing maintenance, servicing, testing, repairs, and spare parts management for facilities and equipment.

  • Responsible for controlling work quality, operational risks, and maintenance risks during equipment maintenance activities, ensuring maintenance effectiveness.

  • Responsible for managing equipment suppliers, equipment procurement contracts, and maintenance service contracts.

4. Management Systems and Documentation

  • Responsible for developing technical standards, procedures, records, and other documentation for the specialized discipline.

  • Responsible for improving and updating system documentation, including project-related documentation.

  • Responsible for supervising and inspecting compliance with operation and maintenance requirements, ensuring implementation of professional documentation.

5. Other Daily Operation and Maintenance Tasks

  • Perform daily operation and inspection tasks assigned by the department.

  • Responsible for “8S Management” of the computer room.

  • Perform temporary tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Good communication skills in Chinese and Thai; fluent English proficiency is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related fields.

  • More than 5 years of working experience, including professional business experience and more than 3 years of manufacturing plant experience.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork spirit, and communication skills; strong awareness of risk and cost control; detail-oriented and stable personality.
